RGB

Three figures. All e-waste. All solar. All yours to experience.
RGB is a trio of life-size human figures built entirely from discarded electronics. Circuit boards, hard drives, cooling fans, cables, laptop shells. All of it destined for landfill. All of it transformed.
Commissioned by Lightpool Festival Blackpool 2025, one of the UK's leading light art festivals, each figure carries its own colour. Red. Green. Blue. By day the detail is extraordinary up close. By night they glow like something that shouldn't exist.
Solar powered. No mains. No infrastructure. Just light from rubbish, standing in public space.

Built by Scott Chaney, Pudsey, Leeds 2025

RGB is available to hire as a touring outdoor installation.
The three figures can be exhibited together or individually. They are self-contained, solar powered, and require no mains electricity, making them suitable for parks, public squares, festivals, and outdoor events of all kinds.
